On Saturday 18th March, HotScotch will be playing for the annual fundraising ceilidh in the Debating Hall at Teviot Row, Edinburgh for the Stockbridge Pipe Band.
Stockbridge Pipe Band, Edinburgh is a community orientated pipe band, with three bands registered in Grades 3A, 4A and 4B of the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association and was formed in 1994. In 2013 the G3B band was promoted to G3A and in 2019, they formed the latest addition to the family, the G4B band.
It promises to be a brilliant night with performances from the pipe bands during the evening too.
The evening runs from 7pm to midnight and tickets (Adults £10, U18s £5 and U12s free) are available by emailing stockbridgepipeband@hotmail.com and will also be on sale on the door.
The Debating Hall is a favourite venue for HotScotch and is on the top floor of the Teviot Row building which houses the Students Union for the University of Edinburgh.
The video below was taken a few years ago when HotScotch Ceilidh Band played for a ceilidh in Teviot Row with a very enthusiastic crowd of dancers, all former students at Edinburgh Univeristy who came back for a reunion.
More videos of the band can be found on their website, YouTube and Facebook pages as well as dance instructions for many of the popular ceilidh dances.
