Jim Walker grew up in Canada and was taught by his father Jim Walker Snr, who played with the Dysart & Dundonald Pipe Band before emigrating. Jim returned to Scotland in 1984 to follow his passion in Scottish Pipe Band drumming. He played with a number of bands including Ceolbeg and the Jensen Interceptors. Hi is drumming teacher at Merchiston Castle School, Fettes College, Edinburgh College and Cargifield School.
