The Benefits of Holding a Ceilidh
A ceilidh is a great way to promote social interaction within your organisation and also an ideal way to welcome guests and conference delegates. When planning your company’s next event, why not incorporate a Scottish Ceilidh into a fabulous entertainment package for all your staff and guests. Our caller will lead you through the dance steps so that everybody can participate and enjoy themselves. We can also organise demonstration dancers to assist with the ceilidh.
Edinburgh Hogmanay Street Party
In 2016 we played for the Old Town Ceilidh as part of the world famous Edinburgh Hogmanay Street Party. This saw a crowd of 5000 dancers in Parliament Square to bring in the New Year.
A complete Entertainment Package
The ceilidh dancing can also be combined with a professional Disco in order to cater for all individuals in your organisation. We hold a vast library of music from 50s/60s right up to the current chart hits. Our professional lighting rig includes LED and Laser effects, and a smoke machine can also be linked, although this is dependent on fire regulations of the venue. The ability to provide a mixture of music in this way ensures that all tastes are catered for. We are entirely flexible to suit your requirements and timings and will work with you to put together a complete entertainment package for your event.
Professional Event Management
We will co-ordinate with the venue to ensure a smooth set-up so that everything falls into place behind the scenes with a seamless transition to the entertainment. We can also organise Highland Dancers, Pipers or other musicians for your event.
The band use high quality professional audio and lighting equipment so as to provide a superior sound and the combination of accordion, fiddle and drums will keep you up dancing all night.
