Experience the Joy of a Laldie Ceilidh

Come and dance to the lively tunes of the HotScotch Ceilidh Band at Edinburgh's Assembly Roxy on Saturday, 13th December. This ceilidh is part of a series of regular events hosted by Laldie Ceilidhs.

We love performing at Laldie Ceilidhs. We regularly play for their Hogmanay Ceilidh, also hosted at Assembly Roxy. More information about the 2025 Hogmanay ceilidh will be available soon.

What to Expect at a Laldie Ceilidh

A Laldie Ceilidh is at the heart of a great Saturday night. All ages and abilities are welcome. You don't need to do the dances "right"; just be ready to try and have a laugh. We demonstrate, walk through, and call dances to suit the crowd on the day. There are always experienced dancers to follow.

Come along in a group, with a partner, or on your own. There are plenty of opportunities to meet and dance with others. That is part of the ceilidh culture.

Event Details

Doors open at 7:45 PM, and the ceilidh runs from 8 PM to 11 PM.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite - Get your tickets here. You can also purchase tickets from the venue's website: Assembly Roxy.

(Please note that these are separate ticket allocations. One source may sell out before the other.)
