Ratho Burns Ceilidh a fantastic success - More dates added!

On Saturday 27th January, HotScotch Ceilidh Band held a ceilidh in Accordionist Paul's local village of Ratho, on the west side of Edinburgh. The church hall in Ratho was the perfect venue for this family friendly ceilidh and we had a full capacity dancing crowd. It was amazing to see a super mix of ages all joining in together and as well as a big contingent from the village, there were a good number of dancers from central Edinburgh who also came along to enjoy the night.

There were many requests for more events at the end of the evening and we are delighted to announce that we have two more ceilidhs planned in Ratho for 2024.

The first will be a Summer Ceilidh on Saturday 22nd of June, and then we will also hold another Winter Ceilidh between Christmas and New Year as a Warm-up to Hogmanay on Saturday 28th December.

Ticket for both of these ceilidhs are now on sale via Eventbrite and are £12 for adults, with free admission to accompanied U16s.

We are also holding another Summer Ceilidh in the Scottish Borders town of Melrose in Saturday 24th August 2024, following on from our successful venture there in 2023.

In March, HotScotch Ceilidh Band will be back at Merchiston Castle School in Edinburgh to play for the Senior Highland Ball.

Visit our Eventbrite page to find out more details and buy tickets for our upcoming public ceilidhs.
